The $BAG Token

Fixed supply, minted once, only ever destroyed. No mint function, no owner, no pause, no upgrade path.

$BAG has a total supply of 44,440,000 — minted exactly once at deployment and split four ways in the constructor. Nothing mints more, ever. There is no schedule releasing additional supply, and no function anywhere in the token contract can create another one.

Allocation

Slice%Amount
Liquidity60%26,664,000
Airdrop (5,000 × 2,222 Apes)25%11,110,000
Operations10%4,444,000
Founders5%2,222,000

The Airdrop slice is sized exactly to give every one of the 2,222 Apes 5,000 $BAG — the precise amount needed to fully activate — pushed directly into each Ape's own account at launch, not claimed.

No transfer tax

$BAG is deliberately a plain, transferable token — no tax on ordinary transfers. Market economics (the sell/buy fee) live at the trading pool layer instead, via a Uniswap v4 hook attached to the $BAG pool. This keeps the token composable and avoids the well-known problems a token-level transfer tax creates (breaking swap routes, needing an exemption list that's never quite complete).

Where $BAG comes from and goes

  • Bought on the open market like any token — never airdropped beyond the one-time launch allocation above.
  • Burned into an Ape to activate it and raise its Burn Progression — permanently, never refunded.
  • 15% of every burn goes to the dev wallet; the remaining 85% is destroyed outright.
The 15% charge applies to every burn, not just the first activation payment — verified directly against the reference protocol's own published numbers before this was locked in.
